The goal of the Bay Commitment College Access Network is to develop a more effective workforce and prepare underrepresented students to become life-long learners and leaders in our community. Bay Commitment's mission is to provide guidance, technology and funding for first-generation and under-served students of Bay County who seek post-secondary education.

Bay Commitment College Access Network operates with the following best practices:
1. College Prep Service Office Liaisons located in each Bay County public school district to ensure students understand college is a necessity for a successful future.

2. College Resource Center which is open outside normal school hours to assist students and their families through the maze of applying for college and financial aid.

3. Breaking down the barrier to find tuition funding by providing information on local scholarships, state and federal grants, and other financial opportunities.
