FT Professional Support - Program Coordinator for The Early College

The Program Coordinator for The Early College supports The Early College and provides leadership for the data and reporting activities for The Early College (TEC). The responsibilities of this position include coordinating and implement of College and Career Readiness curriculum, data reporting, state-mandated testing, and alignment of programs and processes for 3rd year TEC students as they transition into postsecondary including performing the duties related to planning, directing, and coordinating the academic and operational duties necessary to effectively operate successful pre-apprenticeship opportunities and will serve as the main point of contact for students and faculty for these programs.

The role of the Program Coordinator for The Early College is to organize and advise students along curricular pathways, monitor students’ progress, and document students’ efforts towards completion.  Additionally, this position will support The Early College by participating in recruitment and retention activities that promote TEC to potential students, industry partners, and community members focusing on underrepresented populations.   This person will assist the TEC director with administrative and program needs, as well as participate in regional and national initiatives that concentrate on enhancing TEC and pre-apprenticeship partnerships

Strategy Assistant - High School Innovation

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of High School Innovation, the Strategy Assistant will support various initiatives and projects related to MCAN’s four priorities as described in its 2017 strategic plan: Fostering a college-going culture; Identifying multiple postsecondary education pathways and facilitating smooth transitions; Improving college affordability; and Supporting credential completion. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically-capable, detail-oriented, and has the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
