Coordinator, MI-BEST - Michigan Center for Student Succcess

The Michigan Center for Student Success was established in 2011 with a generous grant from the Kresge Foundation. The MCSS provides state-level support to Michigan’s 28 community colleges by serving as a hub connecting leadership, administrators, faculty, and staff in their emerging and ongoing efforts to improve student outcomes, emphasizing linkages between practice, research, and policy. 

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS
• Work closely with the Executive Director to execute project goals, report to the MCCA Board of Directors, and engage in ECMC Foundation activities
• Conduct annual 60-90-minute interviews will all participating colleges
• Work closely with technical assistance providers and MCSS staff to prepare and schedule agendas for all in-person convenings, workshops, and webinars
• Communicate expectations and share project resources with participating colleges
• Maintain the project website and all project communications
• Arrange site visits with participating colleges
• Coordinate coaching sessions for individual colleges
• Collect and synthesize all data and coordinate with project evaluator
• Participate in state and local conversations about access to public benefits and community resources

Director, Student Success and Postsecondary Partnerships - Detroit Drives Degrees

In coordination with the Director, Detroit Drives Degrees, oversee projects and manage consultants related to reengaging adult students, launching and maintaining a data dashboard, increasing student success, and helping run and provide administrative support for the Detroit Talent Hub.

Coordinator Position - The BEST Benzie County

BEST Benzie County is a county-wide collaborative that is unified around the success of our children, county students, and adult learners and the county’s economic well-being. Community agencies, businesses, educational institutions, local units of government, nonprofit organizations, and others have committed to developing an educational path that will prepare all Benzie County students and residents, from early childhood through post-secondary education, for productive careers. The BEST Benzie County Coordinator is responsible for using a collective impact framework to develop a plan to achieve the goals and support the common agenda of BEST Benzie County.The Coordinator is the primary connection between the BEST Benzie County Leadership Team and the action teams that are developed by the Leadership Team to work on identified priority areas and action plans.

Adviser - AdviseMI AmeriCorps Program

AdviseMI is now recruiting college graduates for its fifth-year cohort of college advisers. Since 2015, the AdviseMI program has embedded well-trained, dedicated, near-peer college advisers in high schools that serve significant numbers of low-income and first generation college-going students.

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any subject area, with a 2017, 2018 or 2019 graduation date.
