At Michigan College Access Network, we hold regular events, training opportunities, and seminars to not only inform change makers about the importance of promoting a college-going culture but to empower them to actually create this positive change. The annual Michigan College Access Network Educated Workforce Summit aims to convene a diverse array of stakeholders across K-12 education, higher education, and the workforce development sector focused on increasing educational attainment. Through strategic dialogues, the summit will foster collaborative discussions that integrate perspectives from across these sectors. This year we are excited to launch a teams-based approach to tackling some of the biggest priorities in our state aimed at creating a seamless education continuum into aligned employment opportunities that delivers on Sixty by 30.

MCAN's seventh annual college access advocacy event was held March 12, 2024 in Lansing. Participants met with legislators and policymakers to rally around postsecondary access and attainment and demonstrate support for Sixty by 30. Stay tuned for details on the 2025 event.
